for the purposes of this collection, "yuri" is given the following definition: any media presented mostly or entirely in comic form (whether manga, manhwa, "western" comics, webtoons in any language, etc.) and featuring a romance that is not between men. it is a collection built from the intersection of my taste and what i have been able to find. therefore, as much as possible: the romance will be *textually explicit*; it will be the focus or one of the main foci of the plot; and it will feature physical intimacy including sex

i have divided the compendium into three sections depending on the yuri. there is a section for ONGOING stories, another for COMPLETED long-form stories, and a third for ONESHOTS. the third is a generous category, and will include any finished story that does not extend beyond one published volume. these distinctions are pragmatic, between the yuri that will keep you waiting for more, the ones you could binge to completion given the time, and those most could read in one sitting of reasonable length. each of these subsections is organized according to my own personal recommendations:

there is also a listing of every yuri in the collection, free of my editorial arrangement but searchable according to a tagging system. useful if, say, you are interested in finding every yuri in the collection with office ladies :)
